Debra B. Taylor is a coach and consultant who works with leaders, new managers, and
parents to move past limitations to design careers and lives they truly love.
As a certified career life coach, parent, and former hospital administrator,
Debra has the expertise and experience to support clients in identifying their
unique value, clarifying career development goals, resolving communication and
relationship issues, and achieving results through concrete, realistic action
steps. Her style is gentle but firm, empowering clients to take charge of their
own personal and career fulfillment while enjoying the discovery process.
Debra
has extensive experience in business coaching, strategic planning,
facilitation, program development, and organizational development during a
period of rapid change and fiscal constraints. She draws on nearly 18 years of management experience at
teaching and community hospitals in the greater Boston area, including Mount
Auburn Hospital, Beth Israel Medical Center, Brigham and Women's Hospital,
Leonard Morse Hospital, and the Boston Veteran's Association Medical Center.
Debra attained the designation of Certified Professional Coactive Coach (CPCC)
by completing the rigorous certification program of the Coaches Training
Institute. She then took advanced training in relationship systems coaching and
became certified by the Center for Third Age Leadership to deliver coaching
programs on midlife career fulfillment. Debra earned a master’s degree in
Health Administration (MHA) from Duke University and a bachelor’s degree in
Psychology from Bates College. She is a member of the International Coach
Federation.
